Its existence is supported by document from antique era of the Roman Empire which is writing on the castle stone made in 179 AD. This chiseled writing was made by soldier of Marcus Aurelius army to celebration its victory by enemies in Laugaricio, later renamed Trenèín. One of the most dominant things in Trenèín is castle, where lived many rulers from which Matúš Èák was the most famous.
